Purdue Intelligent robot on duty at Austrian hotel
The staff of the Eisenstadt Parkhotel in Burgenland, Austria, recently welcomed five special new colleagues - Purdue robot Ketty, Hola, Bella, Flash and the cleaning robot CC1. The five robots are Burgenland's first robot employees and are mainly responsible for cleaning, delivering goods and meals, as well as serving as welcome waiters to attract and interact with customers.
"We were always thinking about how to give our staff more time to interact with guests in order to provide a more personal and humane service, so we decided to try using robots to help our staff." Said Michael Novak, general manager of the Park Hotel. He believes that with the support of Purdue Robotics, the work load of employees can be effectively reduced, so that they have more time to provide better customer service.
At the Eisenstadt Park Hotel in Austria, five Purdue robots have been put into use, from welcome to check-in services, they have a clear division of labor. When guests walk through the door of the hotel, Ketty is the first "employee" they encounter. Ketty robot is mainly responsible for the welcome work at the door of the hotel. With a professional voice interaction system and a large screen icon, Ketty robot warmly welcomes guests while providing necessary information guidance, increasing the warm atmosphere of the hotel.
As the leaders of the delivery field, Hola and Bella are contracted to deliver food to two restaurants: after receiving food from the back kitchen, they automatically navigate to the tables in the restaurant and deliver the food to the customers. This not only saves the waiter's physical strength, but also reduces the human error in the delivery process and improves the quality of service. "Our service personnel are very happy because the Purdue robot can carry up to 60 kilograms, which greatly reduces their work load." Says waitress Patricia Genuario-Urmos.
Cleaning robot CC1 is responsible for the hygiene and cleaning of the conference room on the first floor. Through automatic cleaning, it ensures that the conference room is clean and tidy, and provides a comfortable meeting environment for guests. Flash robots deliver to hotel rooms, responding to guests' needs for towels, toiletries and meals.
According to the hotel manager, Parkhotel is the first hotel in Burgenland to use such robots. The application of Purdue robots not only improves the service efficiency of Parkhotel, but also reduces the work burden of employees, so that they have more time and energy to pay attention to and meet the other needs of guests. At the same time, the introduction of robots also makes the hotel's services more technological and trendy, increasing the appeal of the hotel. This is the perfect combination of technology and the hotel industry, and it is a new trend of the development of the hotel industry in the future. Purdue Robots will continue to cooperate with all walks of life and actively explore more application scenarios to bring more convenience to people's lives.
